Paola, a former bank executive, Chiara, her friend, and their respective daughters, Flaminia and Alice, are the chummy team you will find at Pianostrada in a winding alley in the heart of Rome. An unconventional venue, typical of a large city, a bizarre ambience which will win you over. Take a seat at one of the many small tables or eat at the counter next to the kitchen – it does not get any more genuine than this! There is nothing better than admiring the team preparing one dish after the other at the stove. And they never forget to smile or have a quick chat, even at rush hour. A lightness which is mirrored by their dishes: their starters are delicious and will have you asking for more. The focaccia and fried artichoke are a must. The piece de resistance are the different pasta varieties – their sizzling and mixing in the pan will surely have you licking your lips in anticipation. In the warmer season, you can also take a seat in the charming restaurant garden.
