If you’re a self-declared Barolo fan then you have to come here at least once in your life. Cerequio is one of the most famous Crus of La Morra. The ancient palazzo was restored to its former glory by the Chiarlo family who also expanded it with a new, discreet building. The terrace boasts a view over the Barolo as well as Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga on the other side of the hills. The main building’s spacious suites, featuring ancient furniture, are all named after the most famous of the Barolo’s Crus. The five rooms of the new building are a hymn to modern and clear lines. During the warmer days, guests can cool down in the pool, while the restaurant prepares mouth-watering dishes from the Piedmont cuisine. However, the real treat is the cellar, the Caveau, where the most important wines of Michele Chiarlo and all the Cerequio Barolos from its different producers are housed.
